Previously known as Raigarh Jute Mill it was taken over by theMohan Jute Ltd. Group as the premier unit in the year 1989 and incorporated under the name ofMohan Jute Ltd.at Raigarh in the State of Chhattisgarh. Its R D department is dedicated to designing developing manufacturing and marketing of Geo-textiles and bio-degradable eco-friendly natural fibers to suit to the Indian weather and soil conditions. To prevent the presence of Hydrocarbon in the jute products RBO (Rice Bran Oil) Technology is being implemented to produce Hydrocarbon Free Products in collaboration with IJIRA (Indian Jute Industries' Research Association) an organization under the Ministry of Textile Govt. of India. The Mill has a most experienced Statistical Quality Control Department that helps in maintaining its repute in the world market by meeting the needs of the customers. Since starting from a modest beginning in 1975 the nameMohan Jute Ltd.has today become synonymous with the manufacturing and trading of jute and allied products in India. It has proudly provided the highest quality jute products since its inception and has achieved the highest position in the jute industry arena of India and Bangladesh the two major jute-producing nations of the world.
